As many as 83 percent of Polish companies plan for employment to remain unchanged despite the coronavirus epidemic, according to the latest research by the state-owned Polish Development Fund (PFR) and the government advisory body, the Polish Economic Institute (PIE). The 83 percent figure in July's survey is 21 percentage points higher compared to the April poll, the researchers observe. "Only 5 percent plan a reduction in employment and 9 percent want to increase the headcount," the report adds.
