A total of 107 inmates from the least-guarded section of the Bratislava prison and four guards have been quarantined preventively after a prisoner was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday, the communication director of the Prison and Justice Guards Corps Katarina Novakova on Tuesday. The infected prisoner was transported to a prisoner hospital in Trencin. More than 9,000 convicts and 1,600 charged persons are currently in Slovak prisons, including 813 women, 83 juveniles and 219 foreigners.
