The number of Polish soldiers serving in Iraq will grow next year as a result of the recent NATO summit's decision to send to that country a training mission, in which Polish soldiers will also be taking part. At present, Polish special-forces troops have been training Iraqi soldiers as part of the coalition fighting against the Islamic state. Poles do not take part in combat missions. Some of them have been stationing in Jordan and Kuwait.
