Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was welcomed by his Lithuanian counterpart, Saulius Skvernelis, in Vilnius on Tuesday morning, as he officially started his one-day working visit to the neighbouring country. Bilateral relations, security policy and EU challenges and eastern policy will be on the agenda of a meeting between the two prime ministers. Government spokesman Piotr Mueller pointed out in a conversation with PAP that this will be a further meeting this year between the two heads of government. "Tuesday's visit has a working nature and will start with a 'face-to-face' meeting of the two PMs," Muller said. "Among the subjects raised will be issues connected with bilateral relations, security and ongoing topics on the EU agenda, including problems and challenges related to the functioning of EU institutions in the new term."
