The incumbent Andrzej Duda's victory in the second round of the presidential election is "a recipe for normal development" of the country, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at a Tuesday meeting with local government officials in Leczna, in eastern Poland. According to Morawiecki, in the runoff vote, Poles will be choosing between "Duda's plan, an investment plan," and the "plan of moral revolution and plan of chaos" of Duda's contender Rafal Trzaskowski, the Civic Platform (PO) candidate. The prime minister criticised the governments of the Civic Platform (PO) and the Polish People's Party (PSL) coalition from 2007-2015, especially for their response to the economic crisis.
