Polish Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwiecinski expects that major international institutions will raise Poland's economic growth forecasts, putting the country's GDP growth figure at close to 5 percent in 2019. "The forecasts that have recently been raised by the OECD, the European Commission and the World Bank are so far at the 4.2-percent level. I expect that with subsequent reviews, the institutions will upgrade their forecasts for Poland for this year," Kwiecinski told a press conference. "We have a chance to get close to 5 percent GDP growth at the end of the year," the minister added.
