"We need to ensure lasting development in the Middle East in order to avert conflicts that result from humanitarian and migration crises," PM Mateusz Morawiecki said on the second day of the Middle East peace and security conference in Warsaw. Morawiecki stressed the role of humanitarian aid and spoke of his meetings last year with refugees from Syria and Iraq. "As the international community, it is our duty to help those people, we need to help them in the most effective way that will also have a lasting effect," Morawiecki said. "In order to avert conflicts that result from humanitarian and migration crises we need to ensure lasting development in this region," the prime minister added.
