Michelin to expand its plant in northern Poland

French tyre manufacturer Michelin will expand its production line and build a new hall in its plant in Olsztyn (northern Poland), the spokesperson of Michelin Polska Ewa Konopka announced. The total cost of the investment is 56 million zlotys (EUR 12.9m). Konopka told PAP that the new investment will raise the level of human factors and ergonomics as well as the automatisation process. "It will also strengthen the plant's position in the Michelin Group," she added. The company's spokesperson noted that around 40 people will be involved in the construction of the production line.
