Prime Minister Igor Matovic on Thursday declared his willingness to professionalise state administration, with an eye towards having it guided by expertise rather then political motives. According to Matovic, he faces the challenge of how to amend the law and "cleanse" the state administration of people who were installed in it solely because they were members of a governing party. "The power to cleanse the whole state administration falls to our party, as the state administration is under the remit of the Interior Ministry," he pointed out.
