Interest in Slovak products and high-quality food has been increasing not only on the European but also on the non-European market, stated Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Gabriela Matecna at a press conference in Bratislava on Friday. "The potential of our products is enormous. Even though we now export very little, the potential is huge," said Matecna, adding that the ministry wants Slovakia to produce food and products with higher added value. In addition, it wants to increase the share of Slovak food on store shelves and boost exports of Slovak food.
