Entrepreneur Marian K., who is currently being prosecuted in custody in the case of the so-called television promissory notes and has also been charged with ordering the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee, will remain in custody in a Leopoldov prison under more secure conditions, according to a ruling issued by the senate of the Specialised Criminal Court (STS) in Pezinok (Bratislava region) on Monday. Marian K. did not attend the hearing; he was represented by his lawyer Marek Para, who informed TASR about the ruling. The ruling is not yet binding, as it has already been contested by Special Prosecutor's Office (USP) supervising prosecutor Jan Santa and by Para.
