Lower house rejects interior minister recall motion

The Sejm (lower house) voted down 233 to 216 the opposition's motion for the dismissal of Poland's interior minister, Mariusz Kaminski, on early Friday morning. The opposition has accused Kaminski, who doubles as chief coordinator of Poland's special services, of sowing chaos and "pathology" in the services.
