Lower house chairman cancels northern Italy holiday over COVID-19

Czech Chamber of Deputies chairman Radek Vondracek (ANO) cancelled his holiday in northern Italy because he does not want to risk being put into quarantine, he has told CTK today. "Given that at the moment, the government does not recommend leaving the country, it is not the best idea for the third highest elected official to go abroad," Vondracek said. On Tuesday, the National Security Council (BRS) issued a statement that does not recommend visits to northern Italy, specifically the regions of Lombardy and Veneto.
