Lodz fields November Pride patriotism campaign

"November Pride 2017", a series of patriotism-promoting events including concerts, competitions, film screenings and educational debates, will begin on November 5 in Lodz, central Poland, to mark this year's 99th anniversary of Poland's independence. Michal Owczarski from the event-organiser Life Foundation, told a press conference on Thursday that the campaign would include nine major events open to all Lodz inhabitants. He added that their main aim would be to underscore the importance of independent statehood for Poland and the role of Lodz in its restoration.
