LMP calls on govt to present climate objectives

Green opposition LMP on Wednesday called on the government to publish its climate objectives before the United Nations' September climate summit in New York. Erzsebet Schmuck, the party's deputy group leader, told a press conference in Budapest that global warming has already caused substantial economic damage in Hungary. Farm production has fallen and houses have been wrecked due to extreme weather, she said.
