Lion kills breeder in South Moravian village

A lion attacked and killed a 34-year-old breeder in Zdechov village near Vsetin this morning, Zdechov Mayor Tomas Kocourek told CTK and the police confirmed today. The man also kept a lioness. But according to unofficial information, it was the male lion that attacked the man this morning. The police shot both lions dead, regional police spokeswoman Lenka Javorkova told CTK.
