Leaders of three extra-parliamentary parties, Miroslav Beblavy of Together, Michal Truban of Progressive Slovakia (PS) and Alojz Hlina of the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH), have agreed to meet next Monday to discuss cooperation ahead of the general election slated for next year, Beblavy and Hlina have confirmed to TASR. "It makes sense to talk and to seek out a way to avoid 'sinking' each other. Parties that want to bring about change should show that they're able to communicate so that they don't attack a partner," Hlina told TASR. However, he reiterated that KDH will run as an independent party in the 2020 general election. PS and Together have formed an alliance for the general election. Truban and Beblavy have also held a meeting with ex-president Andrej Kiska, the leader of newly established For the People party.
