Landovsky becomes ambassador to NATO on Monday

August 1st, 2019

Deputy Defence Minister Jakub Landovsky (junior government Social Democrats, CSSD), heading the defence policy and strategy section, will become the new Czech ambassador to NATO, on August 5, Defence Ministry communication section told CTK today. Landovsky will replace Jiri Sedivy who has occupied the post since September 2012. Landovsky, 42, has a doctorate from the Institute of Political Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSV) of Charles University (UK) in Prague. He also studied at the Faculty of Law of UK and the University of West Bohemia.
