KSH confirms industrial output rising 5.4 pc in Sept

In September industrial output in Hungary was up by 5.4 percent compared to the same month a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in a second reading of monthly industrial data released on Monday. Output increased after a 6.8 percent growth in August, KSH said. Output increased by 8.1 percent in September when adjusted for the number of workdays during the period. In a month-on-month comparison, industrial output decreased by 0.7 percent in September, adjusted for seasonal effects and the number of workdays. In August the monthly increase was 5.5 percent.
