Kraków airport handles over 6 m passengers in 2018

The Kraków-Balice International Airport in southeastern Poland handled a record-high 6,769,369 passengers last year, 16 percent more than in 2017, the airport announced on Thursday. The company crossed the threshold of six million passengers for the first time in the airport's history. According to the airport, in December 2018, nearly 559,000 passengers used took advantage of the winter vacation routes, 17 percent more than in the previous December. The company reported that last month saw a total of 4,216 take-offs and landings, 14 percent up on December 2017.
