The situation in Belarus is becoming a breeding ground for disinformation and manipulation of the public's opinion on the motive, course and possible consequences of the ongoing protests in the country, Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok warned on Wednesday, pointing out five major terms and symbols the authors of disinformation concerning the status quo use. "[The symbols are] the maidanisation [of Belarus], an increase of NATO's activities on Belarus's borders, a geopolitical contest, financing of the protests from abroad and the use of fascist symbols," said Korcok.
