Kiska to host meeting of B9 Initiative presidents

Slovak President Andrej Kiska will host the meeting of presidents of the Bucharest Nine (B9) Initiative in Kosice on Thursday, TASR learnt from Martin Liptak of the President's Office press department on Wednesday. The B9 presidents will commemorate the 70th anniversary of NATO's founding, 15 years since Slovakia and some other B9 members entered NATO and 20 years since the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland joined the alliance. They will talk about the spread of misinformation and defence against cyber threats and propaganda. The heads of state will also discuss the current security situation in Europe and its neighbourhood. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has accepted the invitation to attend the meeting as well.
