Smer-SD vice-chairman and former interior minister Robert Kalinak claims that he's politically retired, although he didn't specifically reject or confirm information that he won't be in the party's slate in the 2020 general election. "I was politically born here. I'm a founding member of this party," said Kalinak following a meeting of party representatives on Monday, adding that he remains in the party. However, he wouldn't find it strange if a party vice-chair's name weren't included on the party's election slate. "I'm retired and will definitely remain a retiree," he said.
