Journalists should be elected - Communist chairman

Journalists should be elected and submit property statements like lawmakers and mayors, Czech opposition Communist (KSCM) chairman Vojtech Filip said, adding that he would draft the respective bill in the summer, the server iHNED.cz has reported. Representatives of other parties in parliament mostly rejected this proposal. The Syndicate of Journalists of the Czech Republic also categorically rejected the proposal.
