Injured Czech lorry driver released from Genoa hospital

The Czech lorry driver of Prague's SPED-IT haulier injured in the bridge collapse in Genoa, Italy, and hospitalised there with five broken ribs, has been released from the hospital and will be driven to a Prague hospital by ambulance on Tuesday evening, SPED-IT executive Vaclav Zazvurek told CTK. The lorry plunged 45 metres to the ground from the bustling Morandi motorway bridge after a section of it collapsed in north Italy last Tuesday. A total of 43 people died in the tragedy.
