Poland took appropriate and immediate steps to deal with the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva told Polish radio broadcaster RMF FM on Monday. Poland's economy was robust when the crisis hit and thanks to the government's timely measures, it has suffered less than other European Union member states, Georgieva said.
