Hidveghi: 600,000 support Fidesz in EP campaign

The ruling Fidesz party has so far collected the signatures of over 600,000 supporters in its campaign ahead of the European parliamentary elections, communications director Balazs Hidveghi told public television. "We must stop migration and protect the rights of nation states ... we need to build a Europe based on the cooperation of nation states," Hidveghi said, adding, "This is Fidesz's programme". Hidveghi said that "Hungarian voters distinguish between Europe as an ideal and Brussels bureaucracy, supporting the former enthusiastically while criticising the latter."
