Poland's Health Minister Lukasz Szumowski told PAP on Thursday that the government has reached an agreement with resident doctors and health spending would now rise faster, reaching 6 percent of GDP in 2024. Appearing before reporters alongside junior doctors from the national doctors' trade union, OZZL, the health minister said that "as Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated in his policy speech, health protection is a priority for this government, the Law and Justice (party) government.
