The Polish authorities are to decide on the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the Turow brown coal pit extension next March, the Czech branch of Greenpeace writes on its website today, asking the Czech government to postpone the deadline for the EIA cross-border procedure. Greenpeace says the Czech government should take advantage of the change and apply for a delay of the deadline for the completion of the EIA cross-border procedure, which is to be completed by November 16, although the Polish side has not provided some information that is absolutely necessary to assess the planned extension.
