Two foreigners from the Greenpeace environmental organisation detained by coast guards in Gdansk, north Poland, following a coal protest face up to five-year imprisonment, a spokesperson for the District prosecutor's office in Gdansk said on Wednesday. On Monday night Maritime Border Guards boarded the Rainbow Warrior vessel owned by Greenpeace which was blockading a ship from Mozambique in order to prevent the unloading of coal in the port of Gdansk. Two activists, a Spanish citizen, the Greenpeace ship's captain and a female Greenpeace activist from Austria were arrested following the blockade.
