Government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs has dismissed a report in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung suggesting that Prime Minister Viktor Orban may be open to a compromise deal on refugee distribution after the 2018 Hungarian general election. FAZ said on Sunday that the idea of "flexible solidarity" introduced by the Visegrad Group suggested that Orban might adopt a more cooperative attitude after next year's Hungarian election. Kovacs said there was no truth in the report. Out of principle, Hungary rejects the relocation of asylum seekers based on a quota, he added.
