Gov't to fight no-confidence vote - PM's aide

The ruling party will defend Mateusz Morawiecki's government, the Prime Minister's top aide Marek Suski declared on Tuesday ahead of a Wednesday debate in the Sejm (lower house) on a Civic Platform (PO) no-confidence motion in the government. "We will defend Mateusz Morawiecki's government and we will continue to work for Poland," Suski said. He stressed that "thieves and conmen will not return to power."
