German literary Nobel Prize winner Herta Muller to visit Prague

German Nobel laureate author Herta Muller will attend the Book World Prague 2019 fair in May alongside writers Bernard Minier, John Banville, Javier Cercas, Robert Menasse and Alain Finkielkraut, Michaela Dostalova representing the organisers told CTK on Thursday. Latin America is the main guest of this year's 25th book fair, which will take place in the Prague Holesovice exhibition grounds from May 9 to 12. Following a previous announcement that the Latin-American literary star and Nobel Prize winner, Peruvian-Spanish writer Mario Vargas Llosa, will attend the event, Muller is the second Nobel laureate to be confirmed as this year's guest.
