Polish gas company PGNiG has signed a contract with Korean firm LG Electronics to build a regasification plant near LG's Lower Silesian factory and provide 19,000 tonnes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) over five years, PGNiG has announced. The regasification station is scheduled for completion in early December 2020 and the contract, the biggest LNG contract in PGNiG's history, will run until 2025. "The volume of delivery foreseen for LG is over twice as high as our previous biggest contract," PGNIG Obrot Detaliczny (PGNiG's retail arm) President Henryk Mucha said. The LNG will power a facility at the Kobierzyce industrial park near Wroclaw, southwestern Poland, making electric car batteries. In
