Both the Judicial Council and the Justice Ministry should have greater powers in the case of judges who violate the law, Justice Minister Gabor Gal (Most-Hid) and Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) indicated after their meeting on Monday, which was also attended by Interior Minister Denisa Sakova (Smer-SD), representatives of the police, the Judicial Council and the Prosecutor-General's Office.
