The opposition has admitted that it over-temporised its stance on the changes involving the election of the Constitutional Court judges, Justice Minister Gabor Gal (Most-Hid) has told TASR, adding that he has learnt only after the vote in this regard was over that the Opposition would have supported his original proposal. "My proposal could have been successful in the House. The Opposition later admitted that it had excessively pursued tactics and over-politicised it. Only after it was all finished I learned from opposition MPs that they would have voted for our proposal," said Gal, adding that the ministry's proposal was convenient at the time.
