French general thanks Czech doctors for soldiers´ salvation

French General Gerard Nedellec has praised the Czech doctors and medical staff who treated French soldiers at the base in Kabul after a member of the Afghan national military shot them on January 20, Jana Ruzickova, spokeswoman for the general staff, told CTK on Friday. Nedellec recalled that four French soldiers died in shooting in the east Afghan province of Kapisa. The wounded soldiers were transported to the allied base near the Kabul airport where also Czech doctors work in the French hospital.
