French ambassador honours Marian Turski with Legion of Honour

French Ambassador to Poland Francois Barry Delongchamps on Monday decorated historian, journalist and chairman of the Council for the Museum of the History of Polish Jews Marian Turski with the National Order of the Legion of Honour. Naming Turski the true "guardian of the memory" Ambassador Delongchamps stressed that Turski's life, involvement and activity for Polish-Israeli relations were highly valued by the top authorities of his country, the home of the world's third largest Jewish Diaspora.
