Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek will meet Chinese ambassador Zhang Jianmin on Thursday noon over the case of an alleged security threat posed by China's Huawei and ZTE products, Robert Rehak, from the Foreign Ministry's press section, told CTK today. Before Christmas, Zhang met Czech PM Andrej Babis to discuss the issue. The Chinese embassy then cited Babis as saying that the Czech National Cyber and Information Security Office's (NUKIB) previous warning that Huawei and ZTE software and hardware posed a security threat was not the Czech government's position. In a televised debate on Sunday, Babis protested against the embassy's statement and called it a lie.
