Former Slovak MPs: aid for Greece inevitable, fall of Radicova's gov't useless

August 24th, 2018

The adoption of the bailout fund and the help for Greece was an unpopular but necessary solution, as also evidenced by the development of the situation, former MPs Ivan Stefanec and Pavol Abrhan concurred on Friday. At the time the aid for Greece was approved, Stefanec was in SDKU-DS and Abrhan in the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH), and today they are still convinced that the fall of Iveta Radicova's Government because of the bailout fund was unnecessary.
