Former Polish Ministry of Defence Spokesman Bartłomiej M. and five other people have been detained by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) over allegations of working against the interests of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ). The CBA announced on Monday it had detained six people as part of an investigation into "bringing the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) to a disadvantageous disposal of property of significant value and bringing about danger of causing considerable material damage." The bureau said all those detained would be taken to the Tarnobrzeg (southeastern Poland) Regional Prosecutor where they will be charged. Presidential spokesman Błażej Spychalski said of the detention that it would "certainly be a big problem for [former Defence Minister] Antoni Macierewicz."
