The coalition Smer-SD party and the trade unions agreed on another radical increase in the minimum wage, Smer-SD Chairman Robert Fico said at a press conference on Monday after meeting with head of the Slovak Trade Union Confederation (KOZ) Marian Magdosko. Fico added that the increase for 2020 must be higher than the last one. He also outlined the possibility of anchoring a formula into the legislation, according to which the minimum wage should be calculated.
