Farmers protest in front of Polish PM's Office

A group of Polish farmers, mostly fruit growers and pork producers, gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office on Friday to demand more government spending on agriculture as they complained about low wholesale prices for their produce. The protesters demand an increase in agriculture spending to 1 percent of Poland's GDP. The farmers threw apples, raspberries and cherries at the police who were protecting the government building.
