Exhibition in Prague marks anniversary of opening of Iron Curtain

The outdoor exhibition Cesta je volna! (Your road is clear!), opening in Prague's Malostranske namesti square on Tuesday, marks the opening of the Iron Curtain in Hungary 30 years ago, when East Germans also streamed to the West German embassy in Prague in hope of crossing to the west. Between September 10 and the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, some 15,000 East Germans reached West Germany via Prague in 1989.
