Interior ministers of the G6 Group, which comprises France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Poland and Spain, met in Munich on Monday and Tuesday to discuss security issues in Europe and in their respective countries, the Polish Interior Ministry said. The meeting, organised by the German presidency of the group, was also attended by representatives of the US administration, the European Commission and Interpol. Poland was represented by Deputy Interior Minister Sylwester Tulajew, the ministry also said. The ministers discussed the reform of the Common European Asylum System, managing migration flows and threats to the EU's border-free Schengen zone. They also focused on security cooperation with Great Britain after the country leaves the EU. Other issues raised at the meeting included cybersecurity and ways to make the future 5G network a safe, efficient and reliable element of critical telecommunications infrastructure.
