Reforming the EU will not be possible without France and Poland, PM Beata Szydlo said Thursday after Paris talks with French state head Emmanuel Macron. She added that EU reforms needed "reflection by all EU members". Szydlo said Poland was very intent on good relations with France, and gave her assurance that Warsaw was able to find solutions to aid bilateral cooperation. "It is very important for Poland that Polish-French relations be as good as possible. We are able to find compromise solutions to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as [cooperation] in key EU issues like security, energy or social affairs", the Polish PM said. Szydlo added that Poland wanted the EU to be successful, and said she appreciated Macron's efforts in this respect.
