The Czech Republic does not like the EU's draft multiannual financial framework and must do its utmost to change it, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) said at a conference in Bratislava today. Babis gave a speech at the event along with his Slovak counterpart Peter Pellegrini (Smer-Social Democracy, Smer-SD). The Czech Republic and Slovakia, which formed one state until 1993, are among the EU countries that are pushing for the cohesion policy funding to be preserved on its current level.
