The European Commission is satisfied with the Polish government's latest steps in area of the rule of law, EC Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis said in Warsaw on Friday, adding that the moves were also important for Poland's attractiveness to investors. Poland's lower house of parliament on Wednesday adopted an amendment to the Supreme Court law which reinstates upreme Court and Supreme Administrative Court judges retired under a previous amendment that caused controversy in Brussels. Such a move was requested by the Court of Justice of the European Union in its October 19 ruling.
