The European Commission (EC) is not in a position to verify that Poland has taken all necessary steps regarding the EU Court of Justice (CJEU)'s ruling on the Polish Supreme Court's Disciplinary Chamber, EC spokesman Christian Wigand said on Monday. Wigand added that the EC had sent a letter to Warsaw requesting clarification of the issue, which relates to the CJEU's interim measures reagrding how the Disciplinary Chamber functions.
