Polish President Andrzej Duda described the United Right camp's election win as "absolutely spectacular" on Monday and said everything indicated that there had never before been such a decisive win. The president said it would be natural for Law and Justice (PiS) party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, as a "very experienced politician" to reflect on the result, but said that congratulations were in order for the ruling party. On the subject of the leftist Democratic Left Alliance (SLD)'S return to parliament, Duda said it was a good thing that all sides of the political scene were represented. In a special broadcast by public TV station TVP Info, Duda thanked all those who had taken part in Sunday's election.
